1.1 Name: The organization shall be known as the Baptist High School, Kitebi Old Students Association (BAHOSA). 1.2 Purpose: The purpose of BAHOSA is to maintain and enhance a network of former students, support the development of Baptist High School, Kitebi, and provide opportunities for alumni to engage in community and professional activities.
2.1 Eligibility: Membership is open to all former students of Baptist High School, Kitebi. 2.2 Application: Interested individuals must complete and submit a membership application form. 2.3 Fees: Members may be required to pay an annual membership fee as determined by the Executive Committee. 2.4 Rights: Members have the right to participate in all association activities, vote in elections, and receive communications from BAHOSA. 2.5 Termination: Membership may be terminated for non-payment of fees, violation of these terms and conditions, or conduct deemed detrimental to the association.
3.1 Executive Committee: The association shall be governed by an Executive Committee elected by the members. 3.2 Elections: Elections for the Executive Committee will be held annually. All members in good standing are eligible to vote and run for office. 3.3 Meetings: The Executive Committee shall hold regular meetings to manage the affairs of the association. 3.4 Quorum: A quorum for Executive Committee meetings shall be a majority of the Committee members. 3.5 Subcommittees: The Executive Committee may form subcommittees as needed to address specific tasks or projects.
4.1 Code of Conduct: Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on BAHOSA and its members. 4.2 Harassment: BAHOSA has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment of any kind. Members found guilty of harassment will face disciplinary action, including potential termination of membership. 4.3 Confidentiality: Members must respect the confidentiality of the association's sensitive information.
5.1 Participation: Members are encouraged to actively participate in association activities and events. 5.2 Conduct at Events: Members are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all BAHOSA events. 5.3 Feedback: Members are encouraged to provide feedback on activities and events to the Executive Committee.
6.1 Financial Management: The Executive Committee is responsible for managing the association's finances. 6.2 Reporting: The Treasurer shall present a financial report at each annual general meeting. 6.3 Audit: The association's accounts shall be audited annually by an independent auditor. 6.4 Fundraising: BAHOSA may engage in fundraising activities to support its initiatives and the development of Baptist High School, Kitebi.
7.1 Proposals: Amendments to these terms and conditions may be proposed by any member in good standing. 7.2 Approval: Proposed amendments must be approved by a two-thirds majority of the members present at a duly called meeting.
8.1 Decision: The association may be dissolved by a resolution passed by a two-thirds majority of the members at a specially convened meeting. 8.2 Assets: Upon dissolution, any remaining assets shall be donated to Baptist High School, Kitebi, or a charitable organization chosen by the members.
